Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a 'Janta Darshan' at his official residence today, where he addressed hundreds of grievances presented by the public. The majority of complaints came from Shahjahanpur, mainly concerning land encroachment and delays in land measurement. This issue particularly upset the Chief Minister. Yogi personally listened to each complainant, providing a patient hearing. Petitioners also highlighted the negligence of Lekhpals and Kanungo.
In response, the CM immediately directed the District Magistrate to take action and report back within three days. Similar complaints were reported from Agra and Kanpur. The Chief Minister assured all petitioners that prompt action would be taken and there was no need to worry. A woman approached the CM about issues in her medical treatment due to a lack of funds. Despite having an Ayushman card, she needed additional money for her treatment. Yogi assured her that financial constraints would not hinder her treatment. He directed the KGMU Vice-Chancellor to take appropriate action regarding her case.
Additionally, an assistant teacher from Unnao explained that her child was very ill and undergoing treatment in Lucknow, while her husband was away. She requested a transfer to Lucknow to be closer to her child. Yogi assured her that appropriate action would be taken. The Chief Minister sent directions to all concerned officials to address the grievances of the complainants at the district level on a priority basis, emphasizing that negligence would not be tolerated.
Regarding the land encroachment cases, Yogi stated that it must be ensured that the victims are heard. He added that lawbreakers would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
