Patna: In a shocking Another hit-and-run case in Patna, The body of the child was found trapped in a wheel of a car near Indira Nagari area which comes under the Patliputra police station.  

According to the reports, the mutilated body of a child was found trapped in one of the wheels of a car.  The locals spotted the body and stopped the car. The incident took place on Wednesday in the Indira Nagari area.

As per the reports of   Hindustan Times' report, the locals in the area saw the limbs of the child trapped in the wheel and stopped it. The accused, however, made an attempt to escape.

People  chased the vehicle and eventually succeeded in stopping it. The driver and the man sitting on the front seat were caught while the two girls who were seated on the back seat managed to escape. It was also added that the accused probably ignored the fact that the child was under the wheel and continued driving. The accused kept driving for at least five kilometres.

The limbs of the child were found all over the road from Ramnagari to Kurji. The locals caught hold of the two men and damaged the car before the police arrived. A police officer said that the deceased was around five to six-years-old.  The investigation is underway.
