New Delhi: Corona has once again increased the problem in India. The concern is also because this time school children in the big statistics are also getting infected. In many schools of Delhi-NCR, many children have been found corona positive so far. About two years after the third wave stopped, the schools had just started to fully open, but due to the infection of the children, the possibility of their closure once again started to appear. However, experts say that closing schools now is not a solution. According to the Health Ministry, 1,247 new cases of corona have been reported in 24 hours. One patient also died. The highest number of 501 cases were reported from Delhi alone. The situation with a corona in the capital Delhi is continuously deteriorating. The infection rate crossed 7 per cent on Monday. According to the World Health Organization, infection rates above 5 per cent are "alarming".

In the new wave of corona that is accelerating now, hundreds of children are also getting positive. Children in many schools in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad have been found corona infected. In the last 24 hours, 33 children have been found corona positive in Noida, adjacent to Delhi. However, when the children are positive, experts say that there is nothing to worry about, as the children who are getting infected have very mild symptoms and are recovering quickly.

Dr Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS, said that there is no need to panic right now because the data of the previous wave shows that even if children become corona positive, they have mild symptoms and recover very quickly. He says that children who are eligible for the vaccine must get vaccinated. However, he also says that those who have not been vaccinated are also not afraid because they are not getting a serious illness. Epidemic expert Dr Chandrakant Lahariya said that it is necessary to pay attention to the news of children being corona positive because now schools have opened. However, even before the school opened, the serosurvey revealed that about 70 to 90 per cent have become corona positive. He says that like adults, children are also at risk of contracting corona infection, but children either have very mild symptoms or do not have any symptoms.
