These cases were initially treated by Dr. Chang Chishen, the first to report an epidemic in China. From December 26 to 29 last year, Dr. Chang Chishen of the Respiratory Department of the mixed hospital of traditional medicine and Western medicine of Hubei Province had seen seven cases of pneumonia. He was first apprised of the epidemic and reported twice to the hospital, after which the bugle of epidemic prevention began.
