ANKARA: China achieved another milestone in its space exploration endeavors by successfully launching four cutting-edge weather satellites into orbit on Wednesday. The deployment of these satellites marks a significant step forward in bolstering China's meteorological capabilities.

The quartet of satellites, part of the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation, embarked on their journey into space propelled by a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center located in the northwest region of the country, as reported by People's Daily.

This launch represented the 24th mission for the Kuaizhou-1A rockets, highlighting China's consistent advancements in its space program.

Additionally, Beijing recently undertook another significant space mission by launching a separate constellation comprising four weather satellites. These newly deployed satellites swiftly maneuvered into their designated orbits and are poised to contribute significantly by providing comprehensive commercial meteorological data services.

Notably, China further solidified its presence in space exploration earlier this week by dispatching five satellites into the cosmos. Among these were the highly anticipated three Shiyan-24C satellites, intended for conducting pioneering space science and technology experiments.

The utilization of these Shiyan-24C satellites will pave the way for groundbreaking scientific endeavors and technological innovations, underscoring China's commitment to pushing the boundaries of space exploration and harnessing its potential for various scientific disciplines.
