China ready to sell Sinonac corona vaccine, fixed prices

Beijing: China's Jixin city has agreed to sell the Sinonac corona vaccine in case of an emergency. It has also fixed the price of the corona vaccine. According to reports, the essential laborers and other high-risk groups have been asked to sell the vaccine for 60 dollars, (4,500 rupees).

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the eastern city of Jixin said in a statement on WeChat that the vaccine called Coronavac will be worth 200 yuan ($29.75 per dose, Rs 2200). According to the report, China had started giving corona vaccine supplements to millions of employees and high-risk groups belonging to health services, under emergency approval. However, the result of the last phase of the trial of the Chinese vaccine has not surfaced. The third phase of the trial needs to be completed for prolonged vaccine use.

Three vaccine candidates in China have been allowed emergency use. These include vaccines from Synovack, CNBG, and Cansino Biological Company. China is now going to start vaccinating the corona to the students studying in their country soon. For this, China is making two vaccines.

A unit of China's state-made pharma company Sinoform Group (Sinofarm) is making two vaccines of corona. The vaccine will be given to children studying outside China for higher education.  According to the Wall Street Journal report, students will have to register on the website of the Chine National Biotech Group Corporation (CNBG) company for this vaccine.
