China's double character has once again come out in front of the world. On the one hand, the situation over the border dispute with India is already tense. From above, In the Ladakh sector, China is creating a situation of constant conflict due to aggressive policies. On the other hand, China is talking about establishing peace in global forums.  

In fact, in the wake of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, Chinese Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe said, "India and China are neighbours and maintaining good relations serves the interests of the two countries." He said the two countries are working together to establish peace on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He also called for peaceful means to resolve territorial disputes, including the South China Sea.

On the question of conflict with Indian troops over the LAC, the Chinese defence minister said, "There have been about 15 rounds of talks between the two countries. We are working to establish peace in the region. In fact, he was asked why the People's Liberation Army (PLA) had taken unilateral steps to change the status quo on several points on the LAC with India two years ago. This led to a military conflict, which led to conflict for the first time in 45 years. In fact, in the past, there was a fierce conflict between the armies of India and China over the Pangong Lake. Subsequently, the situation in Ladakh became tense. Earlier, at the Shangri-La dialogue on Saturday, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin had said that only India's growing power can establish stability in the Indo-Pacific region. He said the US believes that India's growing military capability and technical prowess can be a stable force in the region. On the sidelines of the event, he mainly referred to India and said, "China is behaving aggressively in the Indo-Pacific region and is illegally enhancing its maritime capabilities. China is tightening its position on the border with India.''
