Beijing: Corona is wreaking havoc all around the world. Corona's birthplace China is also facing the deadly virus.  North China's Hebei Province reported 90 locally transmitted confirmed covid-19 cases and nine locally transmitted asymptomatic cases on Thursday. 

Out of the newly reported cases, 84 were in the provincial capital Shijiazhuang, including five previously reported asymptomatic cases. The other six cases were reported in the city of Xingtai. By the end of Thursday, there were 553 locally transmitted confirmed cases and two imported cases being treated. Another 195 locally transmitted asymptomatic cases and five imported asymptomatic cases are under medical observation.

Talking about global coronavirus cases, the cases rise unabated across the globe, with more than 93.5 million infected by the deadly contagion. While 66,797,824 have recovered, 2,001,208 have died so far. The US remains the worst-hit country with 23,847,250, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom. However, it terms of the total number of active cases, US tops the charts, followed by France, UK, Brazil and Belgium.
