Germany has reported 22,368 new corona cases over the past 24 hours. After the addition of new corona cases, the total count reached 2,000,958. 

The Robert Koch Institute on Friday said that the death toll has grown by 1,113 to 44,994 people within the same period of time. More than 1.64 million patients have recovered from the disease.

Talking about global corona cases, the worldwide number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has surpassed 93 million, Johns Hopkins University reported. The number of the coronavirus cases stood at 93,018,040 as of 01:20 GMT on Friday. Over 1.99 million people have died of the disease.The US remains the worst-hit country with 23,847,250, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom. However, it terms of the total number of active cases, US tops the charts, followed by France, UK, Brazil and Belgium.
