New Delhi: About 90 minutes of talks took place today between PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, with which Xi Jinping's visit to India has ended. He has left for his country from Chennai Airport. Earlier, delegation level talks were held between the two countries. After the talks, PM Modi told the leaders of China that, "I welcome all of you wholeheartedly." Wishing all the citizens of China on the 70th anniversary of its founding. The historic city of Chennai is a witness to the cultural and trade relations between us.

PM Modi further said that "I am happy that we have got the opportunity to introduce you to the cultural heritage here." India and China have been the main economic powers of the world during most of the last two thousand years. Now in this century we are achieving that status simultaneously. After our informal talks in Wuhan last year, diplomatic dialogue between the two sides has increased. We had decided that differences would not allow us to cause conflict. At the Chennai summit, we have exchanged essential ideas on bilateral and global issues so far.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said, "Welcome to India is a memorable moment for me." This tour has deepened the emotional relations between India and China. Informal dialogue has led to a lot of progress in the relationship. There was a great discussion with PM Modi on many issues yesterday and today. PM Modi and I talked like friends. A new round of cooperation will start between the two countries through Chennai Connect, we had decided that we will eradicate differences and will not allow any dispute to arise.
