Swami Chinmayananda was a great spokesman for Vedanta Darshan, the fundamental principle of Hinduism and culture. He was born on 8 May 1916. He travelled all over India and saw many religious misconceptions spread across the country. He started the Gita Gyan Yagya and established the Chinmay Mission in 1953 to establish pure religion by addressing him. Today, on the day of his death, he is going to face a special aspect of his life.

For your information, Swami Ji's discourses were very rational and inspiring. Thousands of people started coming to listen to him. He trained hundreds of saints and celibacy. Thousands of Swadhya Mandals were established. Started many social service functions such as schools, hospitals, etc. Swami ji wrote interpretations on more than 35 texts of Upanishads, Gita and Adi Shankaracharya. His speech on the Gita is considered to be the best.Swami Chinmayanand a ji was born on 8 Th/ Awas in an elite family in kerala, South India, on 8 May 1916. His childhood name was Balakrishna. His father was a judge at the Justice Department. His elementary education took place at the age of five at the local school, Shri Ram Verma Interest School. His main language was English, his intelligence was intense and he was clever in reading. They were counted among the ideal students.

 

If he had an early life, Balan joined Maharaja College after his schooling. There also lasted their studies successfully. At that time, Shankar Narayan, a poor child, became his friend. He was a student of science in college. Biology, botany and chemistry were their subjects. After passing the inter-pass, his father transferred to Trichur, where he left the subject of science and took up the subject of art. Even in this study, he didn't feel much. The father also set up a tutor for him, but that didn't work. However, from there he made a case for B. A. Passed. But the Madras University gave him M.K. Singh' name. A. Did not enter. So he had to go to Lucknow University.

In the meantime, he was impressed by Swami Shivananda Ji and took the initiation of sannyas from him. Now his name is Swami Chinmayananda. They began to study the path from their master – one of the philosophy library – by taking a book. There is enough time to read throughout the day. In those days there was no electricity in the ashram. So there was no night reading facility. Swamiji used to look at the subjects he read all day long. A few days later, his study became intensive and he began to engage in serious thinking. Swami Chinmayanandji sacrificed his physical body on August 3, 1993, in San Diego, U.S.A.
