Patna: The matter that has been stuck over the seat-sharing in Bihar assembly elections can be solved today. The final decision of whether Congress will stay in the state-led coalition and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will be taken today. LJP chief Chirag Paswan and Congress have discussed the new proposals of BJP and RJD at the party and decided to take a final decision. The BJP has called a meeting of the Central Election Committee on Sunday for the selection of candidates and releasing the first list.
Chirag Paswan is facing pressure on his party for being an attacker against JDU, while BJP has told LJP that they are not in a position to do much in this matter. According to sources, in the meeting held with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda, the last proposal has been given to give 23 to 27 seats to Chirag. Regarding which Chirag Paswan has called a meeting of the party's parliamentary board on Saturday, in this meeting the party will take a final decision on the BJP's proposal.
It is being told that one faction in LJP is in favor of contesting for 143 seats in the state, while the BJP has told Chirag that it will not support LJP to field candidates against JDU. In such a situation a big crisis has arisen in front of LJP.
