Patna: Political infighting has started intensifying in Bihar for the assembly elections. All political parties have become fully active. However, the dates of assembly elections in Bihar have not been announced yet. Before the assembly elections in the state, Chirag Paswan, the national president of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), reached Samastipur on his 'Bihar First Bihari First' yatra.

Chirag said that crime has increased in Bihar under Nitish Raj, which is very worrying. He said that the emergency number 100 in the state is not working properly. There is no fear of police administration among criminals. Not only this, there is a huge shortage of women police in every district of the state, due to which women are not able to come forward openly against the oppression that is happening on them. However, Chirag Paswan did not directly name Nitish Kumar while sarcasm.

Chirag has also clarified that we are not part of the government in the state. He said during his visit that all political parties should prepare their manifesto before the election because the absence of manifesto leads to the developmental issues coming to an end and the religion, caste, and Hindu- Muslims become an electoral issue. This is not true for society and the country. The electoral issue should be to make Bihar a developed state.
