Famous actor Chiranjeevi of Tollywood always remains in the discussions due to his films. At the same time, Nandamuri Balakrishna has been in discussion to reach Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital during these harsh times. The 'ruler' actor and Hindupur MLA today donated Rs 1.25 crore to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. Out of this, 1 crore rupees (equally divided) will go to Telugu states, while 25 lakh rupees will go to the special fund of Telugu film industry.
Thanking his colleague, megastar Chiranjeevi (who heads the fund) tweeted, "Thank you dear brother #Balayya #NBK for donating 25 lacs to #CoronaCrisisCharity & 50 lacs each to Telangana & AP Govts. You proved ur generous heart goes out to the needy every time.
