Citroen, a leading manufacturer of French automobiles, made its Indian market debut in 2021 with the C5 Aircross SUV. The automaker has opted to give it a facelift within the next year as luxury mid-size SUVs compete to provide cutting-edge features to entice buyers. The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is "Built to make you stand out with its revolutionary design, modern technologies, and imposing presence," according to the automaker. The automaker released a teaser image of the C5 Aircross facelift, which resembles the model that was released on international markets in January of this year. When it is released, it will rekindle competition with vehicles like the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Taigun, and Hyundai Tucson, among others.

Last year, Citroen introduced the C5 Aircross SUV in India at a starting price of 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The C5 Aircross SUV now costs 32.24 lakh (ex-showroom) after a price increase this year, with the Shine model costing 33.78 lakh (ex-showroom).

The C5 Aircross SUV's most recent iteration features improved styling. The redesigned headlamps and modified grille distinguish the front face from that of the preceding model. A line of LED lights running across the bonnet connects the LED headlamps. The SUV also receives a new bumper and air intakes that are set a little lower than previously. The taillights have also been updated at the back and now feature LED graphics.

The dashboard design has changed inside the new C5 Aircross SUV. It features an upgraded 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with modernised multimedia features. The screen, a separate AC control, and the smaller-than-before gear selector have all been moved to make room for them in the temperature control vents. The C5 Aircross facelift SUV's front seats should include ventilated features.

On the C5 Aircross versions, Citroen also provides hybrid technology internationally. The plug-in hybrid powertrain has 225 horsepower and a fuel-free range of up to 55 kilometres. It makes use of the 180-horsepower Puretech 1.6 Turbo version of the upgraded THP engine. Moreover, the SUV has a driving mode selection that lets you choose between Hybrid, Electric and Sport.
