The 2022 Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition has begun shipping to India from Hero. Priced at Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom), the motorcycle is more expensive than the base model by Rs 16,000 and commands a premium. The motorcycle has the same 200cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that generates 18.9bhp and 17.35Nm of torque and is painted in the brand's official factory racing colours of white and red.
The Xpulse 200 was already an experienced off-road motorbike, but the Rally Edition ups the ante with its modified characteristics. A 10-step adjustable rear shock with 220mm of travel and fully adjustable front forks with a travel of 250mm is included with the motorcycle. Compared to the normal variant, the seat is now 885mm higher and wider. Furthermore, the ground clearance has been raised by 50mm. A longer side stand and gear shift lever are also added to the motorcycle.
The motorcycle rides on wheels that are 21 inches in front and 18 inches in the back that are covered in dual-purpose rubber, and the braking system from the normal version is still present. The instrument panel's LED lighting and Bluetooth connectivity features are some more items that have been kept.
Hero has stated that the Rally Edition would only be produced in a limited quantity, although the precise number of units that will be shipped has not yet been revealed. A few recent internal documents that were released indicate that Hero is also going to offer a Rally Kit with the 4V in addition to the rally edition. Although not much is known about it at the moment, we anticipate the corporation will unveil it soon.
