India is travelling to the world and various unique factors also attracting foreigners to our country. This here and there processes helping to improve the Civil Aviation business of all the countries. Recently, in a report that is released by Civil Aviation Ministry, Dubai-Mumbai route emerged as the busiest route that witnessed around 2.5 million passengers during the financial years 2017-18.

Notably, the list that was released by the ministry has the name of the 10 International cities that are connected to Indian cities by both foreign and Indian carriers. The Dubai Mumbai-route is mainly highlighted because the migrant workers who regularly visit Dubai. Next three places are also occupied by Dubai as Dubai-Delhi and Dubai-Kochi marked the second and third place in the report which reads “primarily led by migrant workers and business market in the Middle East.”

Travellers love for Bangkok is clearly visible in the report as the Delhi-Bangkok route is awarded the fourth place in the list. The route only has an account of one million passengers in the whole year. Dubai-Hyderabad covered the fifth position in the list. Further, it was followed by London-Delhi, London-Mumbai, Dubai-Chennai, Singapore-Chennai and Colombo-Chennai routes respectively.

A report for domestic sectors is also released where metro cities Mumbai-Delhi route topped with seven million passengers. Previously, the route also named as the busiest corridor of Asia Pacific regions. Bengaluru-Delhi, only records over four million passengers and results as the second busiest route of India.

The data is revealing that India’s preference for choosing flights as the main conveyance is increasing over the years.
