- Aadhaar case

Under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of India Deepak Mishra, a Constitution Bench of five judges has taken a significant decision in the Aadhar Card case and has given the constitutional validity to it. At the same time, this bench has also eliminated the mandatory requirement of linking ADHAR to the mobile number.

-Sabarimala temple case

Chief justice Deepak Mishra gave permission for entry of women in the temple by taking a historic decision in the matter of dispute regarding admission of women in Sabarimala temple in Kerala.

-Ayodhya Temple-Mosque Case

In the controversy over Ayodhya temple-Masjid in the last several years, he also refused to send the decision of Nagarjuna in 1994 to a larger bench for consideration. In 1994, the court had given a decision in this matter and said that according to Islam, mosque is not an integral part to pray.

- Advocacy by MLA and MP

The bench chaired by Chief Justice Deepak Mishra also dismissed the petition related to politicians and advocates in which courts were demanding ban on MLA and MP practicing as a lawyer in all over the country.

- Section 497 (Adulty)

Chief Justice Deepak Mishra had also given an important verdict regarding section 497 related to extraterrestrial relation with longstanding disputes. After hearing the case, he had made out of extradition relations from the category of crime.

- Dowry harassment case

Chief Justice Deepak Mishra has also cleared exemption from immediate arrest of husband and his family while hearing a petition related to the dowry harassment case.

On January 12 this year, four judges of the Supreme Court had come in front of the media and raised various questions on their style of functioning. He was also accused of bringing changes in the court roster system. Similarly, his name was mentioned in the suicide note of former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Kalikho.
