Tiruppur: The tech- Giant Google rewarded A school student in Tamil Nadu for her scientific discovery. Darshini, a student of class 8 in government Corporation middle school in Mettupalayam, Tiruppur has received both appreciation and recognition from the tech giant for her discovery.

The tech giant keeps conducting science and technology competitions online in an effort to identify students who have the aptitude for scientific discoveries and to give priority to socially relevant ideas. Any school or college student from anywhere can participate in these competitions.   

Darshini;s teacher Saravanan had encouraged her to take part in the Google science competition held in December 2018. Encouraged by her teacher, Darshini has invented a coin-vending machine to issue coins through it like how the ATM machine issues currency notes.

With the help of her teacher, had sent to Google the details of her invention and the process to be adopted, in the form of a video and documentation. Quite impressed by her efforts, Google has issued a certificate in recognition of her work. In addition, praising her efforts, Google has said: “Thank you for your idea that will be useful to the people across the world” Google said praising the idea and effort of the student.
