Uncontrolled bus hit several vehicles and bumped into truck, four died

New Delhi: A cluster bus created a furore at Nand Nagri on Thursday night. While getting off the flyover, the bus crashed into a truck, after which the bus hit several vehicles one by one. In the incident, 3 people including one innocent have died, while four people including a woman were badly injured.

As soon as the incident was reported to the local people, a crowd gathered on the incident. People created an uproar. After the accident, the driver escaped leaving the bus on the spot. Angry people started shouting slogans against the police. The angry people pelted stones on the vehicles passing by. Police vehicles that reached the spot also suffered the wrath of the crowd. Somehow, Satish (45), Pushpendra (35), a woman and another person were sent to Swami Dayanand Hospital from CAT's ambulance. On getting the information, the police force reached the spot and dispersed the crowd.

Tension remained at the scene till late in the night. Police officers were trying to convince the public. The accident occurred near the Nand Nagri depot at 10 pm on Thursday. While coming down from the Nand Nagri flyover, a bus collided with the truck going ahead. The driver lost control of the bus in the incident, causing the bus to collide with the truck. The bus hit several vehicles and passers-by as it descended from the flyover. About 50 meters away, the bus stopped in front of the Nand Nagri depot.
