Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya expressing concern over vaccine supply in the state. The letter was written by CM Gehlot on the very first day of taking over as union health minister of Mandaviya. In the letter, CM Ashok Gehlot first congratulated Mansukh Mandaviya on becoming the Union Health Minister.

CM Ashok Gehlot in his letter expressed concern over the supply of vaccines and said that an adequate quantity of vaccines is not being provided to the state by the Central Government. In a tweet, he wrote, "More than 42 percent of people in Rajasthan above the age of 18 years have been vaccinated with the first dose vaccine. We have been supplied with an average vaccine of 1.75 lakh per day. While we have maintained the capacity to administer 15 lakh vaccines per day in the state.''

In another tweet, Gehlot wrote, "Thus, all the people of the state can be vaccinated because of our capacity even before December. But we are concerned about the way the supply is now coming from the Centre.'' CM Ashok Gehlot in this letter has requested Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to intervene himself and ensure the adequate vaccine is available to the state.
