Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel has attacked PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR) and National Citizen Register (NRC). Bhupesh Baghel has said that what has been happening in the country today, Amit Shah ji says chronology is NRC and CAA.
Bhupesh Baghel has said that Narendra Modi says that NRC is not going to apply, then the question is about who is telling the truth and who is telling lies. What PM Narendra Modi is saying is correct or what Union Home Minister Amit Shah is saying is correct. CM Bhupesh Baghel said that there is a rift between the two and due to this the whole country is suffering.
Let us tell you that CM Baghel is among such Chief Ministers, who are already opposing CAA and NRC. Comparing the Modi government with the British, he had termed this government as a black English and while referring to the movement started in South Africa by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, he had said to agitate against this government here on the same lines. Baghel had announced that if NRC is brought into the country, he will be the first person not to sign it.
