Dehradun: A new policy will be made within 3 months to increase production and investment in the tourism and energy sector in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, this announcement was made by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in the State Foundation Day program organized at Police Lines. CM Dhami said that there is immense potential in the field of tourism and energy in the state. Apart from this, we have no shortage of resources in both of these areas. While we have all the beautiful places available for tourism, we also have no shortage of water and sunlight for hydropower and solar energy. So we need to pay more attention to this.

He said that an easy and effective policy would be formulated in three months to encourage more investment in the tourism sector in the state. At the same time, a simplified small hydropower and solar power policy will also be formulated. A corpus of one crore will be created in the police department to reward the persons who have caught the prized criminals. The target has also been set to double the GDP by 2027. Efforts will also be made to include the history of Uttarakhand's movement and various aspects of folk culture in the textbooks.

At the same time, CM Dhami said that the government is committed to connecting the youth with government jobs or employment. For this, all the recruitment of UKSSSC has been transferred to the Public Service Commission. Of these, the recruitment process has started on about 7 thousand. Whereas soon the process of recruitment for 19 thousand posts will be started. The government is going to bring many schemes soon for self-employment and employment in the private sector. CM Dhami said that the quality of schools should be improved for good education. For this, the work of strengthening and expansion of the infrastructure facilities of the schools will be done under the Department of School Education. To enhance the quality of education, two hundred schools will be converted every year under the Transformation Ceremony. One thousand schools will be strengthened in the next 5 years. This work will be done in addition to other functions being run in other schools.
