On Friday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Tapkeshwar Mahadev and took the blessings of Mahadev first. The Chief Minister along with his family reached here and performed Jalabhishek of Mahadev. From Garhwal to Kumaon, women of Mahila Morcha are lighting 48 lamps each in religious places, Ganga banks and Shivalayas to pray for the CM's long life. Sankalp Daud was organised at 6 am. Pushkar Singh Dhami was born in Tundi, Tehsil Didihat, Gram Sabha of Pithoragarh district. He comes from a simple family. He was educated in a government school.
Pushkar Singh Dhami remained the CM of Uttarakhand even after losing the election from the Khatima assembly seat. He was elected as the leader of the legislature party and with this, a new history was added to Uttarakhand. After becoming CM, he made his own identity in the whole of Uttarakhand. He grew very popular among the youth of Devbhoomi.
