Ranchi: After swearing-in as the CM of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren has come into action mode. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) working president Soren has sworn in as the 11th CM of Jharkhand at 2 pm on Sunday and called an important cabinet meeting in just 3 hours. Important meeting of Soren's cabinet has been called today at 5 pm.

Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu has administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren. As before this meeting of Soren, the Cabinet Secretary will hold a press briefing and will give information about the decision taken in the cabinet meeting. Several leaders including former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, SP president Akhilesh Yadav, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, former CM Raghubar Das attended the swearing-in ceremony of Soren.

Hemant Soren will take oath today, opposition will show its strength on stage

It is noteworthy that Hemant has sworn in as Chief Minister for the second time. Prior to this, Hemant was sworn in as CM in July 2013. Together with JMM-RJD-Congress, he ran the government for one year, five months and fifteen days. Soren's Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party contested the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections along with RJD and Congress. In the election results, his alliance won a majority to form the government, winning 47 out of 81 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly.
