Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren is likely to resign today amid the ongoing political turmoil in Jharkhand. According to the report, Hemant Soren may resign from the membership of the Assembly. He has called a cabinet meeting at 4 pm today. After this, Hemant Soren will stake the claim to form the government again. For this, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders have sought an appointment with the Governor. The alliance leaders will meet Governor Ramesh Bais at 4 pm.
In fact, in the case of the office of profit against Hemant Soren, the Election Commission had recently sent its recommendation to the Governor. It had advised cancelling Soren's assembly membership.
