Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao started many developments in Telangana. On Saturday, he will officially launch the first of 2,601 farmer heatins in Kodakandla in Jangaon district.
The Farmer's Vedas were the first attempt in the country. It is inspired platforms for farmers where they get help from the government to form groups to get paid prices for their products. This ensures high productivity and makes agriculture a profitable measure.
The state government has allocated Rs 572.22 crore to the farmer's vedic for the total construction cost of Rs 22 lakh. Out of the total cost, Rs.12 lakhs will be repaid from the Agriculture Department and the remaining Rs.10 lakh sacked from MGNREGS funds. According to the design of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department, two rooms and two toilets are in farmer's heat in an area of 2,046 sq ft.
These platforms will be useful for multi-purpose activities including awareness programmes on various activities such as farmer interaction, training, marketing, skill improvement and utilizing new technology. These will be doubling the platforms for cultivation of crops for the season, price, routes and intermediaries to reduce and negotiate to use them as godowns.
