New Delhi:  As part of efforts to prevent global epidemic covid-19, 14 hospitals including Indraprastha Apollo and Sir Gangaram Hospital have been declared as Corona Virus Hospitals. Only covid infected patients will be treated in these hospitals. Patients suffering from other diseases will no longer be able to get treatment in these hospitals. In addition, the government has directed 115 private hospitals to reserve more beds for Corona patients.

The government has also issued instructions to start treatment of corona in 101 private hospitals and to reserve 60 percent of the hospital's ward capacity for corona patients. At the same time, 19 private hospitals have been asked to reserve 80 percent and 82 percent of ICU beds for covid patients. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a review meeting on Monday in view of the rapid increase in cases of infection in the national capital. The meeting was attended by Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and State Health Secretary, along with all the top officials.

In the midst of the meeting, Chief Minister Kejriwal had instructed to increase the number of beds in the hospital for patients suffering from covid-19. In addition, 14 hospitals were announced to be declared completely corona centers. The hospitals that the state government has declared as covid Hospital are as follows: - 1. Indraprastha Apollo Hospital 2. Holi Family Hospital 3. Saasar Gangaram Hospital 4. Venkateswara Hospital 5. Manipal Hospital 6. Jaipur Golden Hospital 7. Mata Chanan Devi Hospital 8. Pushpavati Singhania Hospital 9. Saroj Super Specialty Hospital 10. Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh 11. Max Super Specialty Hospital, Shalimar Bagh 12. Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh 13. Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, Saket 14. Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute, West Bihar.
