New Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, the country's capital, said on Wednesday that his government will assist in the search of farmers who have disappeared from the movement sites and will also approach the Deputy Governor and the Central Government if needed. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government will also make public the list of the names of 115 people imprisoned in different jails in the case of violence here on 26 January.

Speaking to the press, he said, "We are releasing a list of the names of 115 protesters who were arrested by police in connection with the violence on Republic Day and who are imprisoned in various jails. Our government will do everything possible to trace the missing protesters and if necessary, I will talk to the Lieutenant Governor and the Central Government."

A representative team from the legal team of United Kisan Morcha met CM Kejriwal and handed over the list of names of 29 missing farmers to him. It also demanded the creation of a medical board to conduct a judicial inquiry into the alleged conspiracy against the farmers' movement and to investigate the people imprisoned. CM Kejriwal did not comment on the demand for a judicial inquiry.
