New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been attacking the Centre's ordinance to set up a civil service authority in the national capital Delhi. Kejriwal fiercely attacked the central government by holding a press conference. Kejriwal said that this is a well-planned conspiracy by the Centre. The timing of this ordinance was also under the plan. Kejriwal said that he also knew that we would challenge this ordinance in the Supreme Court.

Attacking the central government, Kejriwal said, they were waiting for the Supreme Court to be closed for summer vacations. They waited because they know this ordinance is illegal. They know that this 5 minutes will not last in the court. When the Supreme Court opens on July 1, we will challenge it.

On the last day i.e. on Friday, the central government had brought an ordinance for the transfer-posting of the officers of Delhi after the decision of the Supreme Court. Through this ordinance, the Center has given the powers of transfer and posting to the Lieutenant Governor. Through this ordinance, the central government will set up the National Capital Civil Services Authority, which will do transfer-posting and vigilance work in Delhi. It will have three members, including the Chief Secretary and the Home Secretary in addition to the Delhi CM. Under the chairmanship of the CM, this committee will decide the transfer and posting of officers on the basis of majority. But the final decision will be of the Lieutenant Governor.
