Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav gave appointment letters to more than 10,000 newly appointed policemen. Bihar government ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Vijendra Prasad Yadav were also present in this function. This is the second such case of giving appointment letters to so many people at once in Bihar. Earlier, Jananayak Karpoori Thakur had also organized such a big event while being the Chief Minister. Then he had given appointment letters to about 10,000 doctors and engineers at Gandhi Maidan.

After distributing appointment letters to more than 10,000 policemen, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar administered them an oath not to drink alcohol. Here, due to the ceremony of distribution of appointment letters at the historic Gandhi Maidan, the entry of the general public is closed today. After distributing the appointment letters to the policemen, Nitish Kumar said that there is a rule of law in Bihar. Therefore, if there is any crime, take immediate action. Earlier the strength of the police force was 42,481. More police force was required for law and order and crime control in Bihar. Then the retired forces from the army were reinstated as SAP and they were given the opportunity to work till the age of 60 years. Constantly we keep asking to increase the number.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that since 2007, we have been talking about dividing the police into two parts to control crime in Bihar. We have been saying that one part of the police should be in research and the other in law and order. It has happened now, yet it is too late. The Chief Minister said that action should be expedited for crime control. He said that after the registration of the case, it should be executed within the prescribed limit. Along with this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that along with the restoration, training should also be done on time. For this, he got the Chief Secretary to promise this on the stage.
