Actually, CM Nitish Kumar regularly reviews the work of all the ministries and today it was his turn to review the work of the Ministry of Environment, but despite being in Patna, Tej Pratap Yadav did not attend the meeting of his own ministry. Earlier on Thursday, CM Nitish Kumar reviewed the work of the tourism department in which the state's tourism minister and deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav were present. As part of the review of the work done so far by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, the progress of tree plantation across Bihar was to be reviewed on Friday (June 2) under Jal Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan. In the absence of the departmental minister, Nitish Kumar held a review meeting at the CM's residence. Principal Secretary of the department Arvind Chaudhary informed the CM about the updated status of the department's work.

Meanwhile, CM Nitish told the officials that the department has a major role in environmental protection. Act better on the basis of the department's policies and priorities and plant plantations faster as per the target. The action plan of plantation should be executed properly. He said that in the lower areas of the hilly areas, trees should be planted in the places that have been created for water harvesting. Take all necessary measures to save the plants that have already been planted.
