Patna: Bihar is facing the brunt of floods this time as it does every year. Heavy rains at the beginning of the monsoon have already flooded the state this time. More than 10 districts of the state are flood-affected. CM Nitish Kumar is on alert about the flood situation. With this, he has instructed the officials of the Disaster Management Department and the Water Resources Department to remain vigilant. So that any emergency can be dealt with.

In the same episode, CM Nitish Kumar conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas of Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, and Madhepura districts of Bihar on Thursday. It may be recalled that CM Nitish Kumar, who returned from Delhi after undergoing eye surgery, had earlier conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected districts including East Champaran, West Champaran, Darbhanga, Samastipur. Nitish Kumar, who returned after surveying the flood-affected area, was surprised.

He said it was shocking to hear the floods in June itself. He said, "I am amazed to survey the flood-affected areas. Such a situation had never arisen before. The flood in June is shocking. It must have happened long ago."
