Patna: Night curfew has been imposed in many parts of India in view of the rising corona cases, but the need is not being felt in Bihar at present. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday made it clear that night curfew is not required in Bihar at present. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar put an end to the possibility of night curfew and clarified that there is no need for night curfew in Bihar at present. The CM said the situation in Bihar is still better than many states. There is no need to impose night curfew here.
The CM had arrived on Saturday to lay a wreath at the statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary. As a result, when asked by the media about the night curfew, he said it was not required at present. Not a single case of the new corona variant Oficron has been reported in Bihar yet. Meanwhile, Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that the central government's direction is being followed in full. The State Government has been continuously appealing to the people to follow the corona instructions.
Though health department sources say that even though night curfew will not be imposed by the government at present, plans are being made to strictly follow the corona instructions. The Government of Bihar is going to prepare guidelines in view of the new variant.
