Patna: The ongoing controversy in Karnataka regarding hijab is not taking its name to stop. Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar told that this is not an issue. Talking to the CM media on Monday, when asked on the controversy surrounding the hijab, he said that all this is useless. There is no point in speaking on that. People have gone to court regarding this matter. The CM said that all the school children in the schools of Bihar wear the same type of clothes.

He said that something happens in the country and the world, it is a different thing, there is no such thing in Bihar. We are busy working. We work for everyone and respect everyone. He said that putting up an idol or worshiping in one's own way, it is everyone's own tradition. According to us, there is no need to dispute this. While answering the questions asked by journalists regarding the special state status to Bihar, the CM said that we had campaigned for the special state status in the past as well.

We are keeping our demands. He said that we are all part of the NDA government. He said that in the recent NITI Aayog report, Bihar has been described as the most backward. He told that we have got the opportunity to work from the year 2005, how much we have worked since then and from where we have taken Bihar. Even after that, if Bihar is behind, then it is because our area is less but our population is very high.
