Patna: Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ends. 22 proposals have been allowed in this meeting. In the meeting, the government has allowed procurement of 750 ambulances. As per the Sixth Central Pay Commission, 19.6% Dearness Allowance has been sanctioned to state government servants, pensioners/family pensioners receiving unrevised pay scales/pensions instead of 18.9% with effect from 1.7.2021.

The government has approved 217 crore forty lakh forty thousand 21746.40 lakh rupees for acquisition of a total of 50 acres of land at Kanhauli in Bihta zone for construction of proposed new bus stand in Patna. 217 crore has been allowed for the bus stand to be constructed at Kanhauli near Bihta, which will be constructed as a 50 acre bus stand. In addition, the first part of Saran and part of Vaishali will now come up in Patna area.

In addition, the Government has reduced VAT on diesel from 19 per cent to 16.37 per cent and vat on petrol from 26 per cent to 23.58 per cent. Gandhi Smriti Museum has got permission of Rs.3 crore from Bihar Aksmita Fund. Wi-Fi connectivity to Polytechnic and Women Polytechnic College to be increased. 79.11 crore was allowed for this purpose. 69 posts for the Department of General Administration will be restored through BPSC. 18.96 crore has been sanctioned for the Department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
