After the lockdown was announced, the state CM Biplab Kumar Deb had urged the residents of the state to stay in the houses. He also said that you should serve your parents by staying in all the houses. Make hot water by yourself and add ginger to it and feed your parents and other elders of the house with your hands. Following the appeal made to the public on his own, Shri Deb himself warmed water in the kitchen of his house on Sunday morning, put ginger in it, and made the water a little normal and fed it to his mother. Ginger with hot water is believed to be effective in increasing immunity in the body. That is why the Chief Minister has appealed to the public to do so.
