Following the appeal made to the public on his own, Shri Deb himself warmed water in the kitchen of his house on Sunday morning, put ginger in it, and made the water a little normal and fed it to his mother. Ginger with hot water is believed to be effective in increasing immunity in the body. That is why the Chief Minister has appealed to the public to do so.

The government has lockdown Tripura to protect it from Corona. The state government has kept a full lockdown on 5 July i.e. Sunday for the safety of the public. This lockdown is only for one day. The people of the state are also cooperating with it. There is news of successful curfew from every area of ​​the state. The Tripura government has announced a complete lockdown on Sunday as the source of some cases of community spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic in the state is not known.

Strange cases of poor have come up in the state in the last three days. In which corona infection has also been found in people without travel history or without contact with Covid-19 patients. The administration has taken this step immediately to break the chain of infection in the state.
