Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate 100 new and equipped kitchen centers in the second phase of Deendayal Antyodaya Rasoi Yojana at Minto Hall on February 26 at 3 pm.
Chouhan will also interact with the beneficiaries present at the kitchen centres of Indore, Ujjain, Morena, Dhar and Chhatarpur districts. The kitchen centres will be operated in 52 district headquarters and 6 religious cities Maihar, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Amarkantak, Orchha and Chitrakoot. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh and Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing OPS Bhadoria will also address.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate the portal made for continuous monitoring of the scheme. The number of beneficiaries benefited daily, details of kitchen centers, online kitchen centers and donation facilities to urban bodies will be made available for public view in this portal.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has said that the main objective of the scheme is "no needy plate will remain empty". Rs 10 per plate meal will be given in the kitchen center from Monday to Saturday. Food distribution will be done from 10 am to 3 pm.
