Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa expressed his confidence about the victory of BJP candidates in Karnataka bypolls at RR nagar and Sira constituencies. The Karnataka bypolls has been scheduled on November 3. The CM told the reporters that BJP is 100% sure about the victory and is concerned about how to widen the victory margin .

Yediurappa son and Karnataka state BJP vice president B Y Vijayendra is camped at Sira constituency for the past three days, planning, executing and leading the election camapign and said he is highly confident about the bright prospectus of BJP in the election area. In 2018 general elections, BJP lost both the constituencies. The CM about the farmers said North Karnataka, the heavy rain and floods have caused damage to the crop whereas sufficient rainfall in Malnad region ensures good harvest.   When asked about the distribution of compensation, he said compensation to the people in rain affected areas has begun.

In real fact, as per the government's internal assessment, SIRA will see a narrow win for the congress but RR nagar is like a cakewalk for BJP. The assessment says T B Jayachandra of the Congress and Dr Rajesh Gowda of the BJP are in close competition. BJP has never crossed 17000 votes in Sira constituency. But a help factor for Dr. Rajesh is the party camp at Sira who are actively involved in pulling votes to the party.
