LUCKNOW: CM Yogi Adityanath has directed that the entire NCR be put in an alert mode in view of the prevailing situation due to the rising cases of Corona. He was meeting with Team-9 on Saturday. During this time, he directed that some states bordering the state are seeing a rise in corona cases for the past few days. It also has an impact on the districts of NCR. 70 infected cases have been detected in Gautam Budh Nagar and 11 in Ghaziabad. Therefore, it is necessary that all strict arrangements are made while keeping a high alert in the entire NCR.
Genome sequencing should be done by taking samples of corona infected patients in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad. The situation should be reviewed in depth by communicating with the DMs, and COs of these districts. The total number of active cases in the state at present is 507. In the last 24 hours, 73 thousand 881 corona tests were conducted, in which 106 new cases were confirmed. In the same period, 37 people were treated and recovered from the corona. We have to be very cautious and careful.
CM Yogi further said that our important campaign for corona vaccination is going on successfully. With more than 30 crores and 56 lakh corona vaccinations, so far more than 86 per cent of people have received both doses. The progress of vaccination in the age group of 12 to 14 and 15 to 17 years is satisfactory. Let it be accelerated further.
