Lucknow: Schools that have been closed for 11 months due to corona in Uttar Pradesh have opened from today. When the children arrived on Monday, they met their peers and woke up. The schools had already made all preparations to welcome the children. The cake was cut in many schools and flowers were showered on children in many places. The classrooms were decorated with balloons.

CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the government school at Narhi in Lucknow and learned about the arrangements. During this time, corona guidelines were also followed and the children were admitted into the classrooms only after thermal scanning and applying the mask properly. Care was taken that all children sit only after making physical distance. CM Yogi also distributed chocolate to the children. Council schools were decorated with balloons, flags, and rangoli to welcome children.

The 100-day Prerna Gyanotsav Abhiyan will be conducted in the council schools to compensate for the loss of children's education due to the schools being closed during the corona epidemic. Under this, the emphasis will be on giving remedial education to the children by doing an initial assessment of their level of learning and understanding so that they can get the learning output according to the classroom. In order to make the parents aware of the education of the children, it has been ordered to organize Shiksha Chaupal in the mohallas and villages on behalf of the officers and teachers of the department.
