Maharana Pratap Degree College is run by "Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad" and is affiliated to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay University of Gorakhpur. Pradeep Rao explains that MHRD started the survey work for the cleanliness ranking in educational institutions of the country in the year 2018, in which six thousand educational institutions across the country participated and out of which 300 institutes MHRD declared cleanliness criteria. . It is also being said that Maharana Pratap Degree College Jungle Dhusad got 176th rank, after which the people of the college stepped up efforts to improve their ranking.
