Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday fixed the responsibility and accountability of senior police and administrative officials posted in the districts and directed that health check posts should be set up at different places on the route of the Kanwar Yatra and there should be no display of weapons in any religious yatra or procession. A spokesperson of the state government recently said, "Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, through video conference on Monday, along with senior administrative and police officials posted in Mandals, enclaves, regions and districts, gave directions regarding smooth and peaceful conduct of the Kanwar Yatra, the successful conduct of the Independence Week.''

At the same time, he said that on the special occasion of the first Monday of the month of Sawan, devotees performed Jal Abhishek with faith and enthusiasm in all the districts of the state today, it is the result of our good preparation that the situation was peaceful everywhere. At the same time, CM Yogi also said that "After a gap of almost two years, this time the Kanwar Yatra is being organized, in such a situation, it is only natural for the devotees to be excited, so we have to be more careful and alert.''

At the same time, stressing on the registration of the Kanwariya Sanghas, he said, "Health posts should be set up from place to place on the Kanwar Yatra route. Health and wellness centres can also be useful. There is a first aid facility here. The heat is intense, in such a way, that there should also be a provision of drinking water in the way.'' At the same time, the Chief Minister also said that the Ghaziabad-Haridwar route is the busiest in terms of the Kanwar Yatra and devotees from other states also come here, so maintain communication with the border states as well. At the same time, traffic route diversion should also be done keeping in view the number of devotees on other yatra routes. He directed the District Magistrate and superintendents of police to visit the spot on their own on receipt of any untoward information. Apart from this, CM Yogi Adityanath said, "The road is for the movement of the common man. No religious activity is allowed on the roads by disrupting traffic. Clear guidelines have been given in this regard, it should be strictly followed with zero tolerance.'’
