Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating the birth anniversary of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee as good governance day across the country today. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also paid floral tributes at his statue at Lok Bhawan on the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's 96th birth anniversary. Cm Yogi laid a wreath at the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion and paid homage to him.

Senior officials along with cm Yogi along with several cabinet colleagues were also present. Thereafter, CM Yogi Mohanlalganj also joined the Kisan Samman Nidhi programme. In the meantime, he said that the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana was launched by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The vision of the mobile phone to come into everyone's hands was also realised by Atal Ji. I pay homage to Atal Ji.

Earlier this morning, CM Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to late Atal Bihari Vajpayee in a tweet, writing that "The ajat enemy of Indian politics, the swami of rishi-like bonafide and child-accessible man, the father of the BJP, our inspiration, former Prime Minister revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, on his birth anniversary. Your life, full of lofty human values, is a great inspiration for all of us."
