Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the lockdown will end on April 15. He said that after the lockdown ends, it will be ensured that people do not gather at one place. Meanwhile, CM Yogi held a video-conferencing with the members of the Legislative Assembly and demanded them to cooperate to ensure that large numbers of people do not gather and continue to follow the principles of social distance.

CM Yogi also sought suggestions about the situation after the lockdown. CM Yogi said that his government has done everything possible to ensure the success of the lockdown. He said that the situation remains sensitive due to migrants entering the state. The Yogi government had so far identified 1,499 members of the Tabligi Jamaat in the state. Of these, 132 deposits were found to be corona infected. CM Yogi said that some people tried to spoil the situation and create chaos, but the government is starting strict action against them.

Meanwhile, the period of section 144 has been extended in Gautam Budh Nagar district. Till now only 144 were installed in the district till 5 April 2020. But now the lockdown period has also been extended to 14 April. District Police Commissioner Alok Singh has given information in this regard.
