Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday ordered a special team to launch a raid to stop black marketing of life-saving drugs like remdesivir and Fabiflu was given to corona patients. A state government spokesperson said CM Yogi conducted a detailed review of the supply of life-saving drugs like Remdesivir Injection and Fabifu in the Team-11 meeting.

The spokesperson said CM Yogi gave strict instructions to the Home Department to take strict action under the Act like Gangster and NSA against those involved in black marketing of these life-saving drugs. He also directed the Director-General of Police to constitute a special team in this regard and conduct raids in the state. Sim Yogi said that these should be constantly monitored for an uninterrupted supply of life-saving drugs. Be in constant touch with remdesivir manufacturing companies. In addition, responsible officers should be deployed at all oxygen refill centers.

CM Yogi said to ensure that oxygen is distributed in a transparent manner. The oxygen tanker should be connected to the GPS and adequate police force should be deployed at the plants. He further said that there is no idea of implementing a full lockdown in Uttar Pradesh under the current circumstances. We are concerned about both the lives and livelihoods of the people. The government is taking all necessary steps while assessing the circumstances.
