DRDO to set up 1000 bedded covid hospital in Haryana

Panipat: A 500 to 1000 bedded covid hospital will be set up by The Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in Panipat district of Haryana. CM Manohar Lal Khattar has informed this. Khattar had held discussions in this regard with officials of DRDO recently. It said that patients should have more corona hospitals to ensure adequate medical arrangements. After which DRDO agreed to set up a Covid Hospital here.

The hospital at Panipat will be used in case of emergency. CM Khattar says lockdown will not be imposed in the state. He said it is necessary that people avoid rumours also. CM Khattar said, "All rules will definitely be strictly followed to prevent corona. They have requested the labourers to be relaxed and engaged in their work, there is no need to panic in any way".

CM Khattar had addressed the public at the 'Haryana Ki Baat' programme on Tuesday. Where he said that people will not be allowed to face any kind of difficulty. He said to the workers, "If the government stands with you, don't leave the State". CM Khattar further said that emphasis is being laid on testing and vaccination. In Haryana, the number of corona testing has been increased to about 40,000 tests per day.
