Lucknow: The results of the three-tier panchayat elections in UP, the country's largest state in terms of population, are almost clear. According to the results, alarm bells seem to be ringing for the ruling BJP in the state ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Meanwhile, there have been reports of relief for the opposition Samajwadi Party after several elections. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is extending his best wishes to the winning candidates.

CM Yogi Adityanath wrote on Twitter, "Heartiest congratulations to all the candidates who won the PANCHAYAT elections-2021 in UP with the blessings of Janta Janardhan. In this challenging period, you should cooperate with all the local administrations and participate in the service of humanity". He further said that "After the election results, you must follow the guidelines of the administration and the protocol of 'covid curfew'. My best wishes for the bright tenure of all of you".

SP has proved to be heavy on BJP: Most of the seats in zilla panchayat ward have yielded results in the panchayat elections held in UP. The results of panchayat elections are not good for the ruling BJP. On the other hand, the main opposition SP seems to be reviving the assembly polls from these elections. The results of the zilla panchayat ward have proved to be heavy on the SP BJP. SP candidates have captured 747 seats. On the other hand, the BJP managed to win only 666 seats. According to the trend, BSP is leading on 322 and Congress 77 zilla panchayat wards.
