Lucknow: Corona infection cases in Uttar Pradesh are increasing at a double pace. UP's Yogi government has announced a night curfew to break the link of infection. Meanwhile, the government has also made a major announcement for traditional handicrafts, artisans, porters and labourers of the state. CM Yogi Adityanath has announced in a press conference that the government will provide maintenance allowance to traditional handicrafts, artisans, porters and labourers for the next 4 months for 500 every month. So that there is no pullout during the Corona period.
75,000 traditional artisans have been trained under the free training programme run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Out of this, 25,000 artisans are also being given loans to start their business under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. At the same time, 10,000 handicrafts will be provided with free toolkits across the state.
Regarding the Swarozgar Sangam program, CM Yogi Adityanath said that when you give a job to a person, he does not feed only for one person but the entire family of that person is fed by that job. A family moves in the direction of self-reliance. Seeing him, the whole village seems to be getting involved with that innovation.
