Lucknow: After the verdict of the apex court on the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed the court's decision saying that I am confident that a grand temple of Lord Ram will be built at his birthplace. After the court's decision, Yogi Adityanath expressed satisfaction on this and said that the way the 492 year old dispute has ended peacefully will serve to strengthen the democracy of our country even more.

Yogi Adityanath reacted by writing a blog following the verdict of the apex court. Yogi Adityanath wrote in his blog that a big and long-awaited dispute that had been going on for almost five centuries finally led to a pleasant and satisfactory resolution. The road to the construction of the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram is now free from all obstacles. I pay my respectful gratitude to the Hon'ble Supreme Court for this. I hope that this decision of the Supreme Court should be accepted peacefully by all the parties.

He further wrote that I am a yogi, I have retired and the life of a monk is dedicated to the welfare of the entire humanity. In political terms, I have always adopted the nationalist ideology of Hindutva and followed the policy of development, never compromised it and have always felt the sentiments of Survey Bhavantu Sukhinah to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
